- The kitchen needs attention, the kitchen cupboards seem to be cobbled together,the fridge should be replaced as shelves broken and would be better by the sink and the bin put under the stairs, the end panel by the sink is a leftover piece of worktop that has a draining area?? We washed everything before use and one mug was horribly stained. Bathrooms need a deep clean especially around the skirting, ample toiletries supplied. Very dusty along skirting behind bedside tables and all the blinds, whilst very nice, need a good clean. A draft excluder for the bottom of the front door would be a good idea together with a functioning door curtain for the cooler months. The kitchen needs attention, the kitchen cupboards seem to be cobbled together,the fridge should be replaced as shelv...

+ Absolutely loved the querkiness. Fantastic for one or two nights. We travelled as a family, sharing the two properties which worked out perfectly.
− If you're not used to traffic noise, it's pretty busy as it's directly by the roadside. Everything else was good.

+ We'd stayed at The Old Fleece apartment over the pub a few days before, which hadn't been at all comfortable, so this apartment in a separate building, owned by the same people, was a very pleasant contrast! It was a very comfortable stay and the two ensuite rooms were perfect! The rooms were both large (one was enormous) and beautifully decorated, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked for an overnight stay. Also loved the low level floor lighting in the bathrooms which meant a night-time visit didn't mean having bright lights on or stumbling around in the dark. AND - also in contrast to the Old Fleece - the windows had proper double glazing which meant the traffic noise was significantly dulled and I had a great night's sleep.
− An extractor fan in the kitchen (for damp?) was permanently on. There were no instructions about how to switch it off... A bit intrusive when sitting downstairs. The lighting in the smaller of the two bedrooms could have been a little brighter. Only small details.
