The Dog & Bear Hotel
About this property
Built in 1602, The Dog & Bear Hotel in Lenham offers cosy log fires, a courtyard terrace and cooked breakfasts. With free parking, Maidstone is a 20-minute drive away.
The cosy bedrooms at Dog and Bear were visited by Queen Anne in 1704, and feature an en suite bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have a TV and work space, and Wi-Fi is accessible throughout.
The popular pub restaurant serves a traditional British menu and seasonal specials using fresh local produce. With exposed beams and open fires, the historical bar offers a selection of beverages and real ales.
Overlooking Lenham’s picturesque village square, Dog & Bear Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Harrietsham Railway Station. The M20 motorway can be reached in 10 minutes, offering easy access to London. The coast at Folkestone is a 25-minute drive.
