Overlooking Scarborough Harbour and South Bay, The Grand is an iconic Victorian hotel offering impressive sea views. Alongside its seafront location, the hotel offers complimentary daytime activities and evening entertainment throughout the week, including professionally produced shows, live singers and a variety of activities delivered by our in-house entertainment team.
Bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Many rooms enjoy sea views.
The Harbour Lights Restaurant overlooks the bay and serves a buffet breakfast along with traditional English meals throughout the day. The Coffee Shop offers light lunches and afternoon tea.
The Grand's impressive Cabaret Ballroom hosts the hotel's entertainment programme, while Scarborough's sandy beaches, the Scarborough Spa and Scarborough railway station are all within easy walking distance.
Built in 1863, The Grand was designed around the theme of time, with four towers representing the seasons, 12 floors for the months of the year, 52 chimneys for the weeks and, originally, 365 bedrooms representing each day of the year.
