+ Excellent central location with a cheap public carpark 5 mins walk away.(Kensington). A nice ,bright, modern flat. Plentiful hot water and a BATH! as well as shower. Quiet, cosy and comfortable. The host was responsive when we had a problem with the heating and dealt with it quickly. Kitchen adequately equipped, but could easily be much better. - a) Kitchen is ok for tableware and pans, but needs more: a cafetiere -having to make coffee in a saucepan is not so good; a colander to avoid scalded hands; some small plates; some vegetable knives; some serving spoons; a wooden spoon and/ or spatula to join the spoon we donated; a grater. This is all cheap but would be a major improvement. b) The entrance corridor lets the whole place down. It is frankly grotty and creates a bad first impression.. It seems to be used by the restaurant.and the next door butcher for storage and recycling and looks a mess. The butcher's fridge was leaking onto the floor. The flat owners should prioritise the guests, get the businesses to look after their own mess, give the corridor a coat of paint and it would be in a different class. a) Kitchen is ok for tableware and pans, but needs more: a cafetiere -having to make coffee in a saucepan is not so g...

+ Self catering and facilities were good. The location was brilliant for getting around the town and plenty to see.
− There were a few small kitchen gadgets that needed to be added such as a washing up bowl but I did leave a message and hoped they didn't think I was nit picking.

+ Helpful host. Always responded quickly to questions.
− Don,t be put off by the impression on arrival. The flat was very clean and we had all we needed. It would have helped to have better advice re access from Llanfaes end of town. One end of the road was blocked off and Sat Nav couldn,t negotiate all the road works around the centre. Wish I had known it was easy to walk through from The George / Weatherspoons, Better directions for drivers need to be put on the booking.com website with postcodes for Morrisons and Coop car parks. Advise coming in via the bus station and past council & supermarket car parks.

+ Central location so easy walking around the town. Good size flat including the kitchen. Basic furnishings but clean. Long stay car park 2 minutes walk away which cost £5 per day - free from 6pm - 08.00am.
− First is the very unattractive and frankly off putting entrance hallway from the road. This entrance door was never shut so access up to the flats above the restaurant was open to anyone. The kitchen had no utensils! No bread knife, chef knife, spatula, tin opener etc. Which meant you couldn't even warm a can of soup unless it was a ring pull can! There was no dustpan and brush to sweep up any crumbs or mud walked in. As mentioned the decor is basic, which is fine but it is rushed and paint splatters are over the bathroom floor and cover the internal glass windows in the bathroom and kitchen. Be warned the toaster can trip the electricity breaker! There is loads of hot water but the shower is tricky to control the temperature, scalding or freezing. Expect noise at night, you are over a restaurant in the town.
