+ The accommodation was of a reasonably good standard for the price.
− Not enough research done lesson learned. Chapeltown and the surrounding area is really unpleasant and felt dangerous. As two ladies attending a concert, the surrounding streets to the accommodation are full of groups of men and youths flying about on bikes and scooters and quite intimidating. Anumber of comments where shouted as we walked past that i wont repeat.We viewed the property on arrival after finding the address given is wrong and the one we went to stated it's happens all the time. The noise from the family upstairs was very loud in the afternoon, so unsure on the noise on the night. After walking only a couple of streets to look for some shops, we found that groups of men where everywhere and felt very uncomfortable and that was during the day. To that end we both decided not stay and drove home after the concert. It suggests off street parking but its just street parking and due to the amount of youths flying about on bikes and scooters we wasn't prepared to leave the car. We are working class people but this area was really run down and felt uninviting.
