This 4-star Georgian coaching inn offers a traditional pub and restaurant serving fresh local produce. Surrounded by Hampshire countryside, it features individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Dating back to 1810, The Kings Head is fitted with antique furnishings and fireplaces. It is supposed that the inn was given its present name for its close connection with the family of Oliver Cromwell.
All rooms at The Kings Head come with cable TV and a work desk. Each has a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Free toiletries and high quality towels are also provided.
Only 10 minutes’ drive from Winchester centre, the inn offers free private parking on site. Southampton and the ferries to the Isle of Wight are 25 minute’s drive away. South Winchester Golf Club is 1.9 miles from The King's Head.
The Kings Head has its own skittles alley, which is available for hire.
