+ The staff, especially Peter & Amy were fantastic. Attentive, friendly efficient & great fun. The whole place is charming with rooms in an annex building in the courtyard of the pub. They are lovely & quiet. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean but in need of a bit of modernisation & refurbishment but they were great value & ideal for my one night stay. We ate in the bar and food was fantastic.....homemade pie with mash, what's not to love! The staff, especially Peter & Amy were fantastic. Attentive, friendly efficient & great fun. - I'd have preferred a proper breakfast in the pub as it had a lovely restaurant area, instead of the croissant, fruit, fruit juice & cereal bar delivered to my room, but I understand staffing breakfast has been an issue for them.
