+ I almost never leave 10/10 reviews. Honestly, I'm usually the sceptic who thinks accommodations are overrated — I go in expecting to be let down, and I usually find something. Not this time. Staying in John's apartment genuinely changed my standard, and I don't say that lightly. I'm incredibly particular about hygiene — I can find a flaw almost anywhere. John's place is absolutely spotless. Not "good enough," not "fine for a short stay" — genuinely immaculate, the kind of clean I'd hold my own home to. And the little details are what set it apart. A bottle of water, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, biscuits — and they made sure I had plenty of blankets. It's the thoughtfulness of someone who actually cares whether their guest is comfortable, not just ticking boxes. When one of the lights stopped working — entirely my fault — John came to fix it straight away and kept me updated the whole time. He stayed warm and kind throughout and never once made me feel blamed. That kind of grace is rare. John and his family are also wonderfully responsive. Whenever I needed anything — an invoice, for example — it was sorted immediately, no chasing, no fuss. I've stayed in a lot of places, and I've never felt so comfortable, welcomed and cared for. I was working ridiculous hours as a contractor, and having a cosy, peaceful place to come back to meant the day's battle could finally settle and I could actually recharge. That matters more than I can say. The area is quiet, safe, peaceful and tucked away from the crowds — but still really easy to reach, with groceries and restaurants just a few minutes' drive away. + Thank you for letting us stay in this gorgeous apartment. It was even better than I expected the bed was comfortable, it was clean and styled perfectly, there were products placed in the bathroom which you could tell were of a higher quality since they left a gorgeous and long lasting scent, also there was a collection of board games and books left in case we lacked entertainment and although they weren't used they definitely will be next time. We had a wonderful stay thanks to the kind and welcoming owners. I can definitely say we will be back.
