+ A wonderful, cosy pub in a beautiful location. We arrived early afternoon and were immediately made to feel welcome, spending a happy afternoon in a comfortable space that was well equipped for us to be able to use laptops to finish off bits of work. Everything was clean and the basic amenities of tea, coffee (and bonus biscuits!) were great. The EV charger (one charger, with space to charge two vehicles simultaneously) was convenient and easy to use. The pub itself has the feel of a foodie pub and we were chuffed to make use of their 'early saver' menu, which was fantastic value: great quality, hearty food, for just under £10 each. - It wasn't a major thing, given our room was very comfortable and equipped with space to work from, but as the pub itself was set up solely for dining, it was missing a potential 'sit around' lounge area that you could enjoy as a guest without feeling pressured to opt for food. Also, whilst it didn't affect our stay, if you're easily bothered by noise then it's worth highlighting that was a significant amount of noise that travelled between rooms. + Lovely pub with friendly welcoming staff & really dog friendly. We stayed one night & our room was a good size, clean & very comfortable with a fabulous view over the hills. The food was exceptional! Such a good deal for the price with bed breakfast & a £25pp meal allowance for dinner. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had! Will definitely stay again when visiting this area.
