+ Myself and two others were staying in Elgin for and indie gaming expo at the UHI Moray college building. We stayed at the Milton Accommodation for two nights (Friday-Sunday) and had a lovely time. We booked one of the family rooms with a private en-suite bathroom, one double bed and one single bed. The hosts were lovely and were always there if we needed a hand. The beds were super comfy and we had easy to access bedside charging ports and lights. The tv works fine if a bit laggy when using the youtube apps but we didn't use it that much anyway. The bathroom was nice and clean and stocked up with towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. If you like having hot showers make sure to set the heat to the middle option as it can get very hot! There's a window in the bathroom so it's got good airflow and didn't steam up. Sometimes the cars outside could seem a bit noisy but that's a given when the house is right by the road and it didn't bother us at all. Be aware when booking that not every room type has an en-suite bathroom but there is a bathroom upstairs that anyone can use. There weren't too many other guests when we were there but I imagine it could get annoying if you really need to use the toilet/shower and need to wait for it to become free. On our first night we brought in some food from the Chinese takeaway (1 min walk away if that, very convenient, cash only) and were able to eat it in the dining room. The host took care to show us where the plates and cutlery were and took them away once finished. Since the house is right on the Main Street road it's a fantastic hub for getting around Elgin. There's a bus stop right outside but we got around by walking. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the train station and retail parks and maybe 15-20 to get to the town centre so very walkable. It's a shame we could only stay two nights but I would definitely stay at the Milton Accommodation again. + The owner could not do enough for us, such a lovely caring lady. The hotel was lovely and clean, the facilities perfect and very homely.
− The long walk into town but that was because we had different ranges of abilities, nothing to do with the hotel.

+ Comfortable accommodation for my weekend in Elgin, This was my second time staying here while up in Elgin playing in the Elgin Strathspey And Reel Society Rally. It is a little bit out of town if you are travelling about by foot, but I was aware of this before booking.

+ The room was impeccable, very clean, and very comfortable! The owners were fantastic and very understanding about our late check in after a delayed flight. A fantastic place to stay in Elgin!
− The only issue we had was bumping our heads a couple of times on the sloped ceiling, no ones fault but our own! Other than that the place was perfect!
