- Mattress very thin. Walls very thin too, I could hear 2 men talking in the next room and could hear every word of their conversation. The sound on the tv was really poor and I couldn’t hear it properly the tv could do to be replaced really. The young girl on the reception wasn’t very welcoming she was more interested in her mobile phone than checking me in and then had to shout for help which didn’t appear very professional either. The staff were helpful, and any issues we had were sorted out quickly, nothing was too much trouble. + Met my expectations. Booked very last minute, and everything was ready when we arrived. Breakfast was good. Dinner was good. friendly staff and locals. Nice parking for my Motorbike out of view of the main road. Room was nice and had everything we needed. If your doing a motorcycle tour around the local area. its ideally placed for all the good roads.

+ Our room was larger than we expected and had all the amenities needed for an over-night stay. We had dinner on the evening we arrived, which was really good value for money. The staff were friendly, the bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere. The New Inn is centrally located with tea rooms, bars, gift shops and not forgetting the Mathewson's Gift Shop and Classic Car Museum all withing a few yards away. We will definitely be returning again.
