+ Location is excellent. Lovely house with amenities close by. We visited (Penrith and) Ullswater, Pooley Bridge, went to Carlisle on the train, climbed Hallin fell; we know the area well and it was nice to be back. It's a fantastic place to stay, we would like to come back to this property in the future. Our dogs had a fantastic time, it's so good to find a lovely place that's dog friendly, and the house is easy to keep clean and tidy as it seems the owners are dog-people too. Location is excellent. + Everything about the place. Handy location, warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped property. Without meeting them you can tell the hosts clearly care about their guests. Ours was a business/family visit to the area and the property is handy for just about everything, pubs cafes restaurants shopping sightseeing with easy access to the motorway. Definitely recommend it and will be our first choice if we revisit the area.
− Parking can be a bit of a pain if you have someone in your group with mobility issues. However plenty of parking locally if don't mind a few minutes walk if I'm picky.

+ The location was perfect and the size of the cottage was really good. The welcome bottle of Prosecco was very welcome.
− The towels seem overdue for replacement but were clean likewise with the bedsheet and mattress protector. This isn’t a criticism on the cleanliness of the house.

+ Spacious and clean. Just outside the High Street and close to sainsuburys. Clean and spacious bathroom and toilet.
− Car parking is a distance - 10min walk away. One of the bed sheets in the upstairs rooms was torn.
