+ I really enjoyed my stay at the Old Ham Tree. It’s a quaint, rural little place in a lovely village that I only wish I’d had more time to explore. The location was perfect for a relaxing overnight stay, and the beer garden was definitely a highlight. My room was very well-equipped, and I particularly appreciated having access to the self-service kitchenette. Everything about the stay felt easy and relaxed, including the straightforward check-in and check-out process. The staff were lovely, and the locals were incredibly friendly too, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The room was located close to both the main road and the garden, so I had expected it to be quite noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised—it was actually very peaceful. The bathroom facilities are shared between three rooms, with two toilets available, and they were conveniently located very close to the rooms. For the price, I thought the Old Ham Tree offered great value for money. I didn't eat at the pub, but there were a range of options and smaller portions too, which is something we don't see often and certainly should. Overall, I had a lovely night here and would happily recommend it to travellers looking for a relaxed, affordable, and characterful place to stay.
− The only minor downside is that, while everything was clean, the rooms and communal areas are beginning to look a little tired and could benefit from some updating.
