+ The location is in a small rural village that most people may just pass through but a short way off of the main rural road is a lane and easy stopping spaces with direct access to the property. there is a local convenience shop the other side of the road, and a restaurant a few miles away. the room was comfortable to sleep and access to the bathroom was available at all times. there is a guest lounge that is homely and can be used for reading watching TV or using computer and internet. + I liked the host. Philip was so lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. He has a wonderful 18th century home and I was very comfortable in the single room. It was warm and clean, plenty of plug sockets in convenient places, a little kettle, a tv. The bathroom was just for me as the other double rooms had their own en-suite. For a single person looking for a budget room it's everything you need. I sadly didn't get to try breakfast as I wanted to get back on the road to get to work and usually eat breakfast in the car. I'm sure breakfast would have really lovely and I'm sorry I didn't get to hang around for longer in the morning to enjoy this. Parking was on the road directly outside the b&b which was convenient and no cost to park. This was one of the reasons I didnt stay in the city centre as I was worried about parking and parking costs. I liked the host. Philip was so lovely. I really enjoyed my stay.
