+ The property was close to the venue we visited Easy to find Welcome from staff Loved the fairy lights that came on at night Secure, once the door was closed
− The property was not very clean at all, we cleaned it as soon as we arrived and before we left. The microwave and the oven were really dirty The facilities listed were not available, we had to buy cleaning equipment, including washing up liquid and toilet rolls. No dishwasher tablets The TV did not work There was unexplained food, in the fridges, freezers and cupboards The fly catcher in the kitchen needed emptying Bin was not empty, no bin bags available The door to the property did not fit properly No mirror near plug points in the bedroom No shaver point in the bathroom The electric light was a switch inside the bathroom, we thought pull strings had to be used inside a bathroom When the door of the dishwasher was opened, the ledge was dirty -we left that! The photos on booking.com were not accurate, it's obvious they were taken before the property was altered On booking.com it states that a professional cleaning company clean the property, it's obvious they did not do a proper job There was a weird mouldy water tank in the garden Definitely overpriced as we had to clean the apartment before we relaxed for the evening. If everything that was on the facilities was provided, it would have been ok

− I booked this property last minute for a booking on the same day. I tried to call the host several times before getting through to get the check in details. Got through finally and he told me to call when we arrive at the property as its not ready, but he has a larger property next door instead, which is bigger and better. Upon arrival, the property was clearly occupied, the fridge/freezer was full and there was rubbish all over the kitchen and several bedrooms were all occupied. It appeared people were living in the property. We obviously didn’t stay and told the owner we were leaving. He then said he was doing us a favour as the other property wasn’t available trying to make us feel like we were in the wrong!?! This should not have been advertised and available for booking if it wasn’t ready full stop. I then had to get alternative accommodation last minute and wait almost a week for a refund after I chased up booking.com as the owner did not cancel this his end, causing a lot of hassle and aggregation.
