The Hotel is located in an Old Mansion building that dates back to 1776 when it was referred to as the 'Most beautiful building in Whitby'.

Other attractions in and around town include the cliff-top Whitby Golf Course at just a 5-minute drive or the Whitby Wizard Science Museum just 1 minute away on foot. Captain Cook Monument is 300 metres away.
