The Star Hotel is in a historical part of Southampton, about 650 metres from Southampton Port, with ferries to the Isle of Wight and cruise ship terminals.
Bedrooms have a TV, telephone, and tea and coffee-making facilities. They also have a historical connection, as the Royal Family visited in the 1800s. Most rooms are en suite, and some have a four-poster bed.

House rules
Please note that the car park at The Star Hotel has a limited capacity and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, at a cost of £7 per day for cars and £9 for vans.
Due to the style of the building, there are narrow and steep stairs leading to the rooms, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

• Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
• Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
• A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. That's about $67. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
