+ The location was partly chosen to be near to Lewes with easy access to the town on foot and by bus, but also to be near our friends, who live on the opposite side of the main road, so the location was perfect. All the facilities were spot on - clean and tidy, with some nice decor that was bright and gave an air of care and attention to detail. The bed was a bonus - so big and very comfortable. We were grateful for the blinds in the bedroom to keep the room cool during the summer heatwave. We were surprised that there was no TV, but actually it was nice for a change, and we weren't in much anyway as we were out and about in Lewes and Glynde all weekend. The bus stop right outside on the main road was very useful for getting to These Hills Beer Festival in Glynde. And everyone locally was so friendly, it was a joy to be made to feel so welcome. - We could have done with a blind in the bathroom. It was difficult at first to tell if the window was overlooked: it was patterned glass, but still a little weird, when the light was on, knowing that anyone outside could see in! More importantly though, the bathroom was really hot with the heatwave sun streaming through the window - could have done with a blind to keep it cooler. It would also be helpful to know that the front door of the flat is actually in the road around the corner and not in Queens Road…took us a few minutes to figure that out, so worth a mention. + Really lovely apartment, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Great little base to explore Lewes.
