The Turks Head is a renovated 16th century coaching house that still boasts original features. All rooms are en suite with a shower, and enjoy impressive views over Coquetdale and Simonside. In addition, all rooms have a flat-screen TV and separate seating area.
Breakfast is served every morning, including cereals, fruits juice, tea, coffee and cooked breakfast options. The Turks Head has its own adjoining pub and restaurant, where the chef has designed a menu based on local produce. Additional shops, pubs and restaurants in the village of Rothbury can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot.
The National Trust site of Craigside House and Gardens is a 4-minute drive away. The hiking trails of Coquetdale are 3 miles away from the property, and the Northumbria coastline can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
