+ Simple, did the job that was needed. Beds were comfy enough and the room was quiet enough for a decent couple of nights sleep. Bathroom did the job, hot shower and I was pleasantly surprised to find provided shower gel and towels although I brought my own. Tea and Coffee also provided in room along with a small Freeview tv.
− Some cosmetic stuff, staining on the carpets, bathroom a bit smelly from damp etc, but nothing to complain about for the room price.

+ Very handy location.
− I had seen from reviews that it was run down but for the money decided to take a chance. Entry through the restaurant and they weren’t expecting me and made me stand there while texting someone to figure out if I had a room! Hotel carpets are filthy but room itself was clean and bed comfy. Yes the bedside lamp didn’t work, the heater only had 3 wheels a the random shower gels and shampoo in the bathroom was a bit strange! But I got a cheap bed for the night and figured I could handle it.

+ There was ample parking, well located in relation to the centre. Little kettle in the room to make tea. For the price you can’t complain too much! The staff were friendly when we arrived.
− We arrived at 11.30pm after a long drive. Wanted to go the pub but once you’re in, you’re in. There’s a very strong smell of food in the hallways. It’s not a 4 star hotel…
