Nestled amidst attractive gardens in the beautiful Wirral countryside, this luxury spa resort offers an extensive treatment menu, and Chester and Liverpool are just 15 minutes' drive away.
All rooms at Thornton Hall Hotel provide free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee-making facilities. Each has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower.
Fine dining can be enjoyed in the elegant Lawns Restaurant. The Tapas & Grill Restaurant and The Lounge Bar offer food and drinks al fresco in the hotel’s grounds. Dinner, bed and breakfast rates include a GBP 49 food allowance from the restaurant menu.
Situated in the unspoilt hamlet of Thornton Hough, the 4-star hotel has been stylishly extended to offer all modern comforts but still retains some striking original features, such as oak carvings and ornate ceilings.
Liverpool One shopping district, Cheshire Oaks and Blue Planet Aquarium are a 15-minute drive from Thornton Hall. Chester Zoo, Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs, and Deeside are all 20 minutes' drive away.
Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 11am. Spa use is included on a complimentary basis excluding room only rates. When included this allows use of the spa facilities from 12noon, on the day of arrival only. Please note room only rates do not include spa access at any time.

House rules
Any type of extra bed or child's cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed prior to guest arrival.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
Children between the ages of 6 & 16 are able to use the swimming pool at restricted times and must always be accompanied by an adult. The restricted times are 10:00 - 12 noon & 14:00 - 16:45.

Please note, guests who book the dinner, bed & breakfast rate category will enjoy a £49 food allowance per person from our menu in the Hotel Restaurant.
Please note that this property does not accept group reservations of 4 rooms or more. Guests are advised to contact the hotel for any group inquiries.
Please note, no children under 12 years of age allowed in the restaurant after 18:00.
Spa access for room only guests can be added from 12 pm day of arrival until 10 pm that night for £50 per person, per day.
The fine print
• Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
• Sauna is closed from Thu 09 Nov 2023 until Fri 24 Nov 2023
• Hot tub/jacuzzi is closed from Mon 25 Jan 2027 until Mon 22 Feb 2027
• A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. That's about $67. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
