+ We have just got back from a 4-night stay at the Tirolensis Hotel in Tesimo, and we couldn't recommend it more. The design and upkeep of the hotel are amazing, and the food and wine were spectacular. In the UK, that standard of dinner with wine would set you back well over £200 a couple. The staff were very welcoming. A special shout-out goes to Peter, whose knowledge of wine and excellent English made sure we got exactly what we wanted with our drinks. The rest of the staff's English is limited, but nevertheless, they still go out of their way to help you with what you need. The drive up to the hotel can be a bit scary if you are not used to the narrow, winding roads. However, the views on the way up are spectacular, and after a few journeys, you get used to it. There were also plenty of spaces in the car park. The pool and spa facilities are stunning and immaculate. One thing for the English traveller to note is that apart from the indoor and outdoor pools, the rest of the spa facilities are completely bathing-suit free! We would just like to say thank you to the Tirolensis family for making our trip even better.
− There was nothing we didn't like just 2 points that may help others. The reception doesn't open until 8am so if you're planning an early exit male sure you tell them the evening before. If you are not comfortable with getting naked, you would miss out on the beautiful spa facilities.

+ We visited Tirolensis with our 7 week old baby. We couldn't have had a warmer welcome. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The ease of not having to worry about meal times etc with the use of the all inclusive. The spa area is probably one of the best I have ever used and the pools were also great. I also enjoyed a massage from their therapist there which was also great and well needed. The rooms were a great size and had amazing views of the surrounding area.
− Our only negatives were that there was no air con, which was fine during our stay but depending on time of year would maybe make us think about timing of us visiting again.

+ Tirolensis really had an All Inclusive formula that just made you forget about all the outside world problems. Truly. Everything was included: as much wine and as much soft drinks as you wanted, on top of a rich breakfast, a lunch with soup and some starters from a small buffet, a selection of cakes during the afternoon and an incredible dinner with dishes that were so carefully designed... starter, primo, secondo and dessert too. The spa was beautiful, the sauna had 3 gettate organised during the day with lovely aromas that made accessing saunas more interesting for the newbies like me. Even better, they have a heated outdoor hydromassage pool that is small/medium and it is AMAZING. I probably spent my whole stay there. They also have a cigar room and lots of board games including chess. The staff was very kind, treated us so well.
− Just know that if you are going with your partner and like to sleep under the same sheets, it is quite tricky because there are two individual sheets on the shared bed. Just to set expectations, but not a reason not to go.
