+ We wanted somewhere which would be convenient for our holiday seeing car museums and found this apartment to be just right for that. The apartment was huge and had a fantastic view of the town and was very close to shops, restaurants and an ice cream parlour. We couldn't park on site but there is a road just around the back with free parking. We liked the lift in the block, the shutter blinds to darken the rooms at night, the shower was good and the beds were comfortable. The whole place felt well looked after. PS we also really loved the bakery next door and went there for breakfast things every morning. Overall, we were delighted with Spilamberto - much cheaper than a stay in Bologna or Modena, very walkable and close to the sites we wanted to see. - The only niggles were that I felt the apartment needed better lighting (the kitchen especially just had one overhead light and no sidelights - the fan and light over the cooker was broken. + This place is humongous! And what a lovely view. It’s like you’re never missing out on Italy even if you’re inside your apartment (great for our family with little children). This was a fantastic location for exploring the Motor Valley sites, and the town has some lovely high-quality restaurants available as well as cheap and delicious pizza right across the piazza. I loved staying here. It was so easy, spacious and so clean.

+ very large and clean. well attended to with no surprises. Comfortable queen bed. They provided enough coffee to get you through a morning or two which was appreciated. Proper amount of kitchen items; clean linens. It’s very hit or miss in Italy with accommodations so I appreciate the effort.
− I liked everything. I traveled with my 2 well behaved dogs. Keep in mind, the GPS had issues finding it as the front door faces the side. Look for the pharmacy and then park your car in the lot across from it. door to the apartment building is on the side. My other small nit picky thing is why don’t they use a lock box instead of having to meet someone? It’s stressful organizing your arrival to coincide with another person.
