+ The apartment was even better than we expected with delicious breakfasts! If you dream of staying in an authentic Tuscan village while enjoying all modern comforts and even more, Luigi's place is definitely the right one. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and full of Tuscan charm. There was a mandarin tree just outside the window, a beautiful view of the mountains, and a small town square nearby, with polite police officers and friendly, smiling local people. What could be more romantic than sitting on the main square, opposite the town hall clock, and drinking the most delicious coffee in Italy, or perhaps even in the world (Luigi offers it for free as much as you want!)? And there is more! Just a 10-minute drive away, you can find wonderful beaches, both paid and free. Luigi will tell you all about them and show you where to go. In the evenings, two restaurants on opposite sides of the square fill with the lively sound of Italian families enjoying emotional conversations. It is a wonderful way to experience real Italian life! The service and food in both restaurants were excellent. We especially loved panigaccio, a traditional local Tuscan dish that is difficult to find anywhere else in the area. It was absolutely delicious, both boiled and baked. Waitresses speak English well and are very friendly. Thank you for your smiles and helpfulness! Some evenings Luigi even put on his chef's hat and cooked himself! He is not only a handsome and intelligent man but also a truly warm and welcoming host.
