- Unfortunately the cleanliness of the apartment was very disappointing. Being a holiday let cleaner myself i did not expect to arrive to such a dirty property. All the bedroom furniture was dusty and had dirt marks on them, the floors were dusty, under the bed had large clumps of dust. The towels that were left out for us had been used and rolled back up. Both towels had dirty marks all over them, were damp and smelt greasy. Thankfully there were new ones stored in the wardrobe we were able to use. The bathroom had not been cleaned, the shower screen was stinking with old water marks and residue on it, the bath was dusty and had hair in it same as the sink, the mirror was dirty and the toilet needs a good scrub, it was thick with stains and smelt of stale urine. The bath mat provided wasnt clean either. The living room - the sofa was absolutely full of crumbs along with the floor The kitchen - First thing you noticed was the floor, it was stinking with black dirt marks and crumbs. Every bit of worktop was full of crumbs and some places sticky residue. The oven hob was again dirty with bits and grease. The oven needs a good scrub too. Toaster, kettle and microwave also dusty and not clean. The fridge was disgusting. There was a half used tub of yoghurt left in there and it was full of dirt especially under the drawer. The sink was stinking and the draining board. The utensils provided were covered in food and the cutlery in drawer not clean. The dish sponge provided was absolutely stinking too. The bread board had old food stuck to it. All the cupboards needed a wipe out and every bit of flooring throughout a good hoover and mop. All scurting boards throughout were also full of dust. There was no cleaning products or cloths or anything provided at the property so after arriving later than we expected i found myself down the shop at 10pm buying cleaning products to clean the property before we could even settle in. None of which were answered so I was left at 7.30pm with nowhere left to sleep & I had booked 3 nights. + Nothing- did not get to enter the property in order to view the amenities
− 12 hours after booking, still no response from property owner.Emailed, messaged and called about 20 times. Calls were being directed to voicemail abruptly. Booking.com were useless. At 9.45pm when we were already on route we were told they would not be to accomodate us, leaving us with no-where to stay and a frantic search for a hotel with availability.
