+ The host provided a lot of information prior to arrival to help gain entrance to the property & car park. The apartment itself was spacious & cosy and very well equipped with regards to towels and cosmetics in the bathroom to tea, coffee and condiments in the kitchen plus supplies of cleaning, kitchen towel and hand soap. The bed was comfort and a decent shower. - No TV. Although I’m not a massive tv watcher as a sole traveller for work away for 4 nights I missed having it in the background or settling down to flick through the channels. TV’s are inexpensive these days so to have a least one is a must. If the internet was to go down then you wouldn’t be able to stream! The designated car parking space was a 4 minute walk from the property so not great in the rain or if you have lots of stuff to carry. No TV. + As soon as I entered the building there was a strong smell of Asian food throughout the entire building. Not the owners’ fault but it still needs to be mentioned. The smell on the top floor where the apartment is, was the most foul smell I have ever come across. DISGUSTING!!!! Every time I was in the communal areas, I had to hold my breath and cover up my mouth and nose or I would have puked! As soon as I entered the apartment it became clear to me, that the owners normally live in the apartment. All their stuff was scattered around the apartment. All the draws and shelves were full of the owners’ personal belongings and there was no room for my stuff. There is literally stuff everywhere in the apartment. Especially in the kitchen. There was no room for any of my stuff because every single kitchen cabinet and shelf was occupied by the owners. Big plant pots on the balcony so one could not even sit outside. Ornaments, furniture and personal belongings all over the apartment. Not what I expect when I pay to stay somewhere. I felt like I was staying in a family member’s home for a few days. The bath was very slippery and there was no bath mat. An accident waiting to happen. Although the mattress was comfortable, the metal bed frame was making creaking noises every time I turned in the night. The apartment was clean and the communication with the owner was great and early check in was allowed but other than that, my stay was very disappointing. - The bedsheets and pillow cases were of very poor quality. The internet in the apartment is disabled. I did not realise until I missed my Amazon order. The iron board was unstable on the legs and could not be used. The toilet flush was broken and the toilet seat was hanging off one side. Since the owners live in the apartment, they should be aware of all of the broken things. Why have they not been fixed then?? The closet door in the bedroom was also broken. It would not slide to open. It was very hard to find the building as the complex is like a maze and only the building name, the apartment number and the street had been given before check in. No instructions on how to get to the building which happens to be almost the very last building in the back. Parking is available but is a totally separate building and one has to walk about 3 minutes to the parking. Not ideal if one has shopping to drop off. The kitchen blind was too short, it was hard to open the freezer door. The curtains in the living room were too long and just hanging on the floor and they did not cover the windows because they were not wide enough. No TV (which did not bother me but some visitors would except one). The neighbours had screaming kids and they were very noisy every day. The apartment is right by the train tracks (hence the name of the listing) and I was aware. However, I was unaware of all the freight trains passing in the night and the many noisy trains passing during the day. 2 trains were parked right outside the apartment, over night with the engine on daily. That woke me up every morning. Very disturbing 5 days for me and I was not able to relax at all while there. Many things need to be changed in order for this apartment to be rented out. It just seems like the owners leave the apartment when they get bookings and come back when the apartment is available again. They need to set it up better for people who stay at their place. + A great, spacious apartment with a lovely balcony overlooking the passing trains. It was easy to find, and the host provided clear and helpful instructions. The Wi-Fi was good, and the apartment was conveniently located close to the town centre and train station. It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

+ Die Wohnung war sauber und geräumig. Das Bett wsr sehr gut. In der Küche war alles notwendige erhalten. Weiter Blick vom Balkon.
− Leider war der beschriebene Fernseher nicht vorhanden und der Vermieter hat vor der Anreise immer direkt Fragen beantwortet aber nach der Anreise und der Frage nach dem Fernseher haben wir keine Antwort erhalten. Das hat uns mehr geärgert als das der Fernseher nicht vorhanden war. Ansonsten hat die Organisation gut geklappt.
