+ We absolutely loved our stay. Knowing that the property was once the summer residence of an Italian king made the experience even more special and fascinating. The drive up to the estate is beautiful, and the gardens are incredibly charming. Although it wasn’t pool season when we visited, I can imagine how wonderful it must be during the warmer months, surrounded by what feels like a private forest. Travelling as a group of eight, being able to stay together within the same estate was a real highlight. La Loggia has recently opened and can also be rented separately (it has its own listing under "Villa Favorita – La Loggia", rather than Villa Favorita). Since we rented all the properties, we had the chance to explore the entire estate, which made our stay even more special. The hosts were exceptionally attentive, and the rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and comfortable. This is much more than just accommodation; it’s a place where you can truly immerse yourself in history, nature, and the unique atmosphere of the estate. + Beautiful property. Lovely location. We had friends staying in the main house so we shared the facilities. But it’s a fabulous place to stay to explore Piedmont.
− The stairs in the cottage are very steep. The bed mattress was ok but by night 4 it was uncomfortable as it does slope.
