+ Schoon appartement met goed werkende airco, wat wel prettig is bij temperaturen van 30+ graden. Verder een heerlijk zwembad met buitendouche. Grote overkapping met een buitenkeuken waar je tot laat in de avond fijn kan zitten. Goede uitvalsbasis voor tripjes naar grotere steden. In de omgeving zijn grote supermarkten en een goede pizzeria. Voor de liefhebbers, je zit midden in een gebied met veel wijnproeverijen. Rustige en hele mooie omgeving. + We spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Il Rustichino and enjoyed every single moment of our stay. We were travelling with our kids and it was the perfect place for both young and old. They spent every day happily playing in the pool, while we relaxed and took in the breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills. Our oldest even learned to swim independently for the first time here, making this a place that will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Although there are a few houses nearby, we never once felt like we lacked privacy. The villa feels peaceful, secluded, and incredibly relaxing. The outdoor kitchen is a huge highlight. We used it for every single meal, and cooking and dining outside while overlooking the valley created such a magical atmosphere that we’ll never forget. The house itself is spotless, the beds and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, and having two bathrooms, each with its own toilet and shower, was very convenient. The air conditioning also deserves a special mention. It worked incredibly well, which was a real luxury during the warm Tuscan days, and made the house wonderfully comfortable whenever we came inside. The outdoor shower by the pool was another thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. And then there is the host, who truly deserves a special mention. He is an absolute gem and one of the kindest, warmest, and most genuinely welcoming hosts we have ever met. He was always so friendly, helpful, and flexible whenever we needed anything, while at the same time giving us all the privacy we could wish for. You could really feel that he genuinely cared about making sure we had a wonderful stay. One morning he even surprised us with fresh fruit and vegetables from his own garden, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel incredibly welcome. His kindness and warmth truly added something special to our stay. Grazie mille for an unforgettable stay. We hope to return one day! Ciò che rende davvero speciale l’esperienza, però, è la vista — dal terrazzo e dalla piscina si apre una visuale libera sulla valle circostante, che diventa quasi magica al tramonto, quando si scorgono i caprioli passeggiare tra i colli. E la sera, grazie all’assenza di inquinamento luminoso, il cielo si riempie di stelle: un vero spettacolo naturale. Il proprietario, che vive proprio accanto, è stato incredibilmente ospitale fin dal primo istante. Ogni mattina presto viene a controllare minuziosamente i valori del pH e del cloro della piscina: quei piccoli gesti fanno davvero la differenza e dimostrano un’attenzione ai dettagli che ti fa sentire veramente accolto e curato. In sintesi: se cerchi un rifugio tranquillo immerso nella natura, dove raffinatezza e autenticità si incontrano, Villa Il Rustichino non ti deluderà. Un angolo di pace dove ricaricarsi, guardando i caprioli al tramonto e le stelle di notte. English: I loved every single moment spent in this beautifully restored rustic villa, which perfectly balances Tuscan charm with modern comfort. What truly makes the experience special is the view — from the terrace and the pool you get an unobstructed panorama of the valley, which turns magical at sunset when you can spot deer wandering through the hills. And at night, thanks to the absence of light pollution, the sky is filled with stars — a breathtaking natural spectacle. The owner, who lives right next door, was incredibly welcoming from the very first moment. Every morning, he comes early to meticulously check the pool’s pH and chlorine levels — small gestures that make a big difference and show the care and attention he puts into making guests feel looked after.
