- The location is a bit remote, if like us one is walking the Via Francigena. We had walked 26km in extreme heat that day and the hill up to the hotel was challenging at the end of our days hike We had pre-advised our arrival time and were told that was perfect. The receptionist showed us to our apartment. We asked where there was a restaurant where we could dine. She said there was one 5 minutes walk away. I queried that as I understood that there was nowhere to eat nearby and was going to ask about a taxi. The receptionist confirmed it was definitely only 5 minutes walk. Having asked if we needed to book she said she would ring the restaurant for us. So far so good. We took off our backpacks, and I immediately checked the restaurants location, and Google advised it as a 25 minute walk away. I went back to reception to see about getting a taxi and to check if our reservation request was successful, only to find reception locked up. We never saw a staff member again for the duration of our overnight stay. It was clear the receptionist wanted to go home as soon as we arrived. Being exhausted we abandoned dinner and made do with the food that was available in the apartment, and meant for breakfast. + Amazing rooms and facilities. Very quiet setting, which had incredibly comfortable beds. Staff were amazing and the whole place was exceptionally clean. Amazing!
− Wifi was not working.

+ Super comfortable small apartment for 4, perfect for a stop on the road to cool down in the pool and continue the trip. Nicely decorated, super well equipped with all you need and more for a complete breakfast. Beautiful common area around the apartments. Friendly staff, I highly recommend it!
− Nothing, all perfect. Be aware you'll need a car to reach this place, as it is on the countryside, but you can reach a small village with good restaurants in 5 minutes.
