+ The apartment itself had a modern feel and was fairly clean. The bed was comfortable (but not a double as stated but rather two singles pushed together). The shower was nice. A really awesome hair dryer was available which dried my hair quicker than it's ever been dried before. Plentiful fresh towels. Apartment remained a good temperature despite the heatwave. Really nice large mirror with lighting in the bathroom.
− I think it's an apartment block with a mixture of air b'n'b style apartments, and privately or rented ones. It has a horrible dilapidated run down vibe to it although the apartment itself was modern and clean. At first I couldn't access the property and panicked. The owner messaged me back quite promptly with a different code which worked, thankfully. The living room/kitchen TV didn't work. The only reply I got was "is the tv in rooms working?" (which they did) but is irrelevant when you prioritise good sleep health and don't watch tv where you sleep. I received no further reply or help but then randomly noticed a message from them the next morning that was sent at 23:02 at night saying: "Hi, Hope you’re enjoying your stay so far. Just checking in to make sure everything is okay with the property and your stay. If there is anything not quite right or anything you need help with, please let us know now during your stay so we can try to resolve it for you as quickly as possible, rather than at the end of the booking. We’re always happy to help" Odd time to send that given I'd already messaged them about issues I had earlier in the afternoon and I was fast asleep. Really uncomfortable sofa with questionable stain. Skirting board of kitchen broken. Kitchen bin lid broken into the open position so if you stayed there a few days and had any food waste going bad it would make the whole place smell. Questionable liquid of some description on wall. The blinds provide privacy but don't block any light whatsoever so make sure to take an eye mask in summer where it's bright really early and into the late evening. Floor boards in kitchen not fitted correctly so there are gaps. Toilet it so close to the sink it's a bit awkward to sit down and I'm very short at 5ft 1 so I don't know what someone with long legs would do.
