+ Spent one night at Villart vendégház, which is a home that has been turned into a guesthouse. The owners do their communication by phone, so it's a good idea to let them know exactly when you plan to arrive, otherwise they may not be at the property as they do not live there. Very large kitchen, dining room in the entrance where you can make coffee (we couldn't work out how the machine works despite being shown) and tea in the morning. There's also bread, butter, jam and milk in the fridge and a jar of Cornflakes, for breakfast. Apples from the garden are also available. Our room was big with a nice bathroom. We had to be careful with the shower curtain, not to block the drain and flood the bathroom. On street parking is available outside the house. + A beautiful period style mansion converted to a guesthouse with tastefully decorated common areas and simple, immaculate and comfortable rooms. A very easy walk to the train station, the beach, Keszthely town center and Festetics Palace. The hosts were so gracious and helpful!
− I should have selected a room with an attached bath. (We did have our own dedicated bath, but it was located across the hall. Not really a problem.)
