+ Staff were very helpful at dinner in the pub. Room was really nice, for the price that we paid. It had everything required. We were shown to our room by a staff member when we arrived, which I thought was really nice. The shower in the bathroom maybe could do with a new one, however everything was all very clean, so it wasn't a major issue, just something for the pub to consider in the future. I know how much these things no doubt cost to refurb and for the price we paid for the room its was perfectly fine. Staff were very helpful at dinner in the pub. - The only thing was it did not have a lift to the second floor where our room was, but that is just a minor thing and did not really affect our stay in any way as we only were staying for one night. + We had room 11 and whilst pub noise was negligible the creaking floorboards of the room above were annoying overnight. I believe this is the only first floor room with a room above. Courtesy of being shown to room with offer of carrying case was appreciated. Bar food was good even if a little delayed but we weren't going anywhere! + Friendly staff, decent room, good food choice. Parking was easy, check in/out was smooth. Loved having an 'outside' room, easy to get to/from main road.
− I can't recall anything really negative, maybe decor was a little tired, but certainly not poor.

+ Proximity to motorway, quiet location, comfortable bed, good food in the pub.
− Rooms felt a bit scruffy and dated
